Preston has been building and executing long term financial plans for his entire career. He was recruited to Baird in 2013 after serving over 10 years as Vice President to a privately owned real estate development company focused in Southeast Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. He loves combining his work experience with his passion for having meaningful conversations with others to help the families he serves make strong financial decisions.
Preston is dedicated to staying actively involved in the community. He is a volunteer teacher with Junior Achievement of Wisconsin, the current Chairperson of Leadership Fox Cities, an active volunteer at Holy Spirit Church & School, and a supporter of the Cristo Rey Network of Schools.
Preston met his wife, Kristy, at Marquette University where they both attended college. They live in Appleton, WI with their five children: Mary, George, Rose, Bobby, and Kay. Preston enjoys playing ice hockey, hunting, fishing, golfing, skiing, cottage projects, church retreats, music, adventure, spending quality time with family and friends, and creating lasting memories. Overall, he enjoys finding new ways to live out his life-motto to “make every situation better”.
