This past wweekend, Kristy & Preston, along with several other committee member friends, hosted Holy Spirit School & Parish's 22nd annual Mardi Gras fundraiser event at Van Abel's of Hollandtown. Over 200 supporters came out to the event which featured games, silent auction items, floor raffles, and 10 unqiue live auction experiences. The event came close to breaking its all-time-record and raised over $170,000 before expenses for Holy Spirit School and parish. The committee was thrilled with the results, especially after having to put on the vent virtually last year.
Although the event requires a lot of work, time and energy, being able to serve on the committee and see how one night of fellowship and generosity can amount for so much for the Holy Spirit Community, is worth all the effort that goes into the event.
